Nothing is charged when you join. Your first sixty days are a Welcome Window: you see every release, buy what you want, and the fee is only charged at the end of it. Deactivate before then and you pay nothing.
Buy €5,000 on Crurated or CruTrade during the Welcome Window and the first fee is never charged. Two cases of good Burgundy, and your first year costs nothing.
The same €5,000, bought in the twelve months before your renewal date, waives the fee for the year ahead. A collector who buys €5,000 a year never pays it.
The membership is €300 + VAT a year, auto-renewing, and only ever paid by members who buy less than €5,000 in the year. Storage at Beaune is complimentary and unlimited, insurance included. Deactivating your membership ends the waiver, whatever you have bought.

We reply personally, usually within a few days. Once accepted, you have access to the next releases straight away.
