How Shipping Works

Once your bottles have been received and processed in our warehouse, their status will update to "Available to Ship" in the "My Cellar" section of your account. Select the bottles and quantities you wish to ship to begin the process. You will receive either an automatic shipping quote or a tailored quotation for specific destinations or products. Shipping charges vary depending on the quantity, declared value, and delivery destination.

The shipping rates and conditions outlined below apply to wine only.

Spirits are excluded from standard shipping rates; all spirits shipment requests will be provided with an ad hoc quotation.

Shipping availability depends on the destination country, and certain locations may not be serviceable or may be subject to restrictions.

Shipping Rates

From March 1, 2026, shipping rates will be applied based on destination zones and the total number of bottles per shipment, as outlined in the table below, applicable to wine only. A detailed country-to-zone breakdown is also provided for reference.

Zone 1: Europe

‍Belgium, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Lithuania, Slovakia, Sweden, UK, Norway, Switzerland, France

€18.00 flat rate (6 bottles or fewer) +€1.50 per bottle for each bottle over 6.

Zone 2: Asia

Hong Kong, Japan*, Macao, Singapore*, Republic of Korea, Taiwan*, Thailand*

€75.00 flat rate (6 bottles or fewer) +€10.00 per bottle for each bottle over 6.

USA, Canada

€110.00 flat rate (6 bottles or fewer) +€15.00 per bottle for each bottle over 6.

Zone 4: Oceania

‍Australia, New Zealand

€100.00 flat rate (6 bottles or fewer) + €20.00 per bottle for each bottle over 6.

All shipping rates apply per standard 0.75L bottle and are exclusive of VAT, excise, and any other applicable duties.

Formats of 0.75L or smaller count as one bottle. Larger formats are calculated proportionally based on the 0.75L equivalent (e.g. 1 Magnum 1.5L = 2 bottles, 1 Jéroboam 3L = 4 bottles). This conversion applies to both per-bottle rates and the 6-bottle minimum threshold. For example, 3 Magnums (= 6 equivalent bottles) qualify for per-bottle pricing; 5 standard bottles are subject to the flat rate.

Shipping to certain countries may be subject to quantity or product restrictions. Where applicable, these limits will be communicated at the time of your shipment request.

For large orders (exceeding 60 bottles), please contact logistics@crurated.com for a dedicated quotation. Large shipments can be sent by palletised service.

Every bottle is packed with care inside a heavy-duty cardboard case specially certified for express transportation.

Shipping Seasons

To ensure that your wine is transported safely and arrives in perfect condition, we generally do not ship wines or spirits via express service during the winter or summer months, to avoid damage that can occur from exposure to extreme heat or cold.

If, in Crurated's opinion, temperatures are not suitable to ship wines and/or spirits, but you still require shipment, during warm & cold season, a pop up will flag the risk of performing shipments. To increase protection, we add dedicated styrofoam cases during the warm/cold season. Styrofoam cases are always added for tropical countries' shipments.

Insurance

Your wine and spirits shipments are insured against damage related to shipping: theft, breakage, and loss. We work with partners who offer the best quality service.

Storage Information

Professional Cellaring

Your bottles are stored in state-of-the-art, temperature- and humidity-controlled facilities to ensure optimal aging conditions and preserve their long-term value.

All wines are fully insured while in storage, giving you complete peace of mind that your collection is protected and professionally maintained.

Accessing Your Wines

You may request shipment of your bottles at any time directly from your My Cellar section. For full details on delivery options and rates, please refer to the Shipping Information section above.

Storage Rates

Members

• Beaune Warehouse: Unlimited complimentary storage and insurance
• Non-Beaune Warehouses: €2.00 per bottle per year

Legacy Accounts

• Beaune Warehouse: €3.00 per bottle per year

All storage rates are exclusive of VAT.

Billing

Storage fees are billed semi-annually, on:

• June 30
• December 31

Charges are calculated at the end of each storage semester.

If bottles are shipped during a billing period, storage fees are prorated based on the exact number of days stored.

Example: If a bottle is shipped on March 31, storage fees will apply from January 1 through March 31.

Bulk Transfers

Members may relocate their bottles between Crurated storage facilities at any time at their own cost (logistics, duties, taxes, etc.).

Once per year, they can include their bottles in Crurated's scheduled bulk shipments between warehouses — paying only any applicable duties and taxes, with all shipping fees waived.
